Elizabeth J. Dwyer, 94, died Thursday January 24, 2013 at Rutland Regional Medical Center with family by her side.
She was born on April 27, 1918 in Ryegate, Vt the daughter of Ramie and Lucy (Gates) Champany. She was formerly employed for many years as a bank clerk at the Proctor Trust Company in Proctor. She married Dale S. Dwyer Sr. in Monroe, NH in 1937, he predeceased her on Sept. 09, 1990.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons Wayne Dwyer of Leicester and Dale S. Dwyer Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; two daughters Marjorie Harrison of Mount Dora, FL and Muriel Sedergren of Proctor; five grandchildren Anita Hughes of Proctor, Penny Conlin of Brandon, Heather Bouchard of Whiting, Michael Bessette of Hawthorne NV, and Steven Bessette of Springfield; seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Stanley Dwyer and a grandson Lee Bessette.
There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 28, 2013 at the Union Church of Proctor at 11:00am. Burial will be at a later date in South Street Cemetery in Proctor.
